Hey internet, my name is Fletcher Anthony Fickes. My mommy and daddy got me this website and are going to keep it up to date until I can write messages for myself. Here's some information about me:

What's up! The holidays are here again! I don't remember them from last year but it seems like really fun things are happening! I'm putting everything together now, mommy and daddy are really starting to realize how much attention I've been paying to everything. I am walking really fast but haven't quite started running yet. My vocabulary is great - I've been saying truck, train, and bike for a long time. Now I make animal noises and say lots of things including my own name! I tell daddy "night night" before bed, will point to my belly button or stick out my tongue on request, and dance all the time. I love to watch The Wiggles, can't get enough of trucks and anything related, and look at books all the time. Mommy is always laughing at me paging through my books in the car seat while she's driving.

My birth   I was born on 7/1/07 at 1:58 AM. Mommy was in labor all day on the 30th but I really wanted to stay put so they delivered me by c-section. I came out at 9 lbs 13 oz!

Hirschbrung's   I was diagnosed with Hirschbrung's disease when I was about 13 days old. I had surgery at 17 days and am now doing great with my recovery. Hirschbrung's occurs when the nerves don't develop all the way down the digestive tract so the part without nerves needs to be removed surgically. There's all sorts of detailed information about Hirschbrung's on Google if you're interested.
